LOW PLOUGHLANDS

We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to Low Ploughlands. We have provided external lighting on the ample parking area to ensure you can safely unpack and start to enjoy your stay. Keys will be available in a key safe on your arrival, so don’t worry if you don’t arrive until the small hours!

If you are wanting to arrange for a grocery shop to be delivered on the day of your arrival, Sainsbury’s, Asda and Tesco all deliver to the barns. If you are concerned about arriving in time at the barns we can unpack this for you if it is delivered between 12 & 2 p.m. Unfortunately we cannot offer this at Rose Cottage.

For your ease we provide all linen, towels, tea towels and some basics so you can forget about these details and unwind. To help you settle in we provide a welcome pack which includes some local fudge, sour dough bread (Ivy Cottage Baker), Box of Eggs, Cheese, a bottle of Cava, pint of milk, tea and coffee (including some Nespresso Pods).

There are Landranger ordanance survey maps for you to borrow, along with a booklet with information on what to do and where to go, to help make the most of your time outside. For those that can’t wait, much of this information is under the Walks tab on our website.

We’ll provide everything you need to enjoy the warmth of your luxury holiday barn including a complementary initial supply of firewood for your use on the log burner and or in the fire pit – depending on the season!
