THE LOW PLOUGHLANDS BUILD

On 9 January 2014, works started on site by Lanquest Properties Limited. Chris, Steve and his team have worked through all weathers to produce a wonderfully honest conversion of the original barn.

We have tried to reuse all the materials on site wherever possible including the stone gate stoups for the fire pit, the beautiful ‘Brockram’ key stones on the entrance arches and the desire to create a seamless transition between the nature outside and the comfort inside.

We’ve added in a new ground source heating system which pulls the heat from our new pond. The wood you burn on the fire has been taken from the woodland you can see from the barns.

We’ve added a few photos to give you a feeling of this journey enjoyed by all involved. We hope you enjoy the rewards.
